William's a shy orphan who lives with his older sister, but she leaves him to study music overseas. 

He's sent away to live with his sinister aunt and his cousin.  It's not a happy world he has to share with his cousin Daniel. Circumstances mean they both need to get away.

He thought he has been going mad since he has received visions from an older youth. He and Daniel had no choice but to follow the youth's instructions and enter the Gossiping Tree at night...They wake in a wild forest about the year 1280AD and enter a violent world where the rules of conduct are different, which they were not equipped to deal with.

They Befriended by a witch, her daughter and burly her husband the soon offend the local priest. Then a youth with pretensions over lords them.

They end up in deeper and deeper trouble until fate deals its hand...  		 
 This is the first of a series of four books. William learns the cruel side of
life before he finds out the meaning of the visions and the destiny of 'Alhaq' has in store for them...
The Film is out before the book to make into a television drama

Jack and the Dark Lord		  
  The Blurb

Jack's woken in the middle of the night by an alien creature the like of which he has never seen before. He’s ordered to get up immediately and attend to his master the Oracle at the top of the mountain. Jack is surprised when he arrives that his master and his two imaginary friends are waiting for him.
He’s ordered to leave with his friends to travel halfway around the Underworld to meet the Oracle’s agent a girl called Mira on the Isle of Vulcanterre. She will lead him to Vulcan who lives in a volcano.
       
His problems start straight away when the three boys learn they can bring nothing more with them than the clothes they stand up in. This means no food to eat, or weapons to defend themselves. Only his friends Haw and Rowan can bring a luxury each.

They have to cross the desert and meet strange peoples before they cross the seas and they soon lose the little they has started with. 
How can Jack change their luck and reverse bad fortune.He realises his journey means his final showdown with the feared evil Gnome King. Is he prepared for what he will meet when he gets there?
